I am delighted to share my reflections on serving as a member of the Organizing Committee for the ASME 44th International Conference on Ocean, Offshore and Arctic Engineering (OMAE 2025), which was successfully held this past June in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Being part of the team that brought this premier international conference to life was a distinct honour. The OMAE conference is a vital event for our field, providing a critical forum for the world's leading researchers, engineers, and professionals to share cutting-edge advancements and foster impactful collaborations.

In my role on the organizing committee and as the Volunteer Coordinator, I had the privilege of contributing to the conference's planning and execution. A key part of my responsibility was leading the team of dedicated volunteers. Their tireless effort was the backbone of the event's success, and I am profoundly grateful for their commitment to creating a smooth, welcoming, and productive environment for all attendees.
With the conference now concluded, it is rewarding to look back on the vibrant exchange of ideas and the strength of our community. Contributing my service to an event of this magnitude was a deeply fulfilling experience, and I am proud of what we collectively accomplished. I look forward to future opportunities to connect with and serve our scientific community.
